Its world TV premiere occurred just a couple days ago on January 4th, 2016, and is currently available to stream for free via the PBS website until January 18th, 2016. Here’s a look at the official trailer below. This film is absolutely tremendous, Tapeheads, and I highly VHSuggest you check it out as soon as humanly possible. It’s truly a fascinating and incredible story, and one that details how the agonizing and practically paralyzing hardships of communist oppression were somehow softened by the this ability to watch bootleg VHS. It provided solace for so many, offering a sense of freedom for an hour and half at a time. And it was all through the power of a few amazing people, and a VCR.
